Founded in 1989, Texas Linguistic Services has evolved into an organization understanding the reality of Spanish as an important vehicle of communication in every industry. In 1991, Texas Linguistic Services acquired Associated Translators. Today, Texas Linguistic Services and Associated Translators is a successful company with an excellent reputation in the business community.
Providing Quality Translation Services for over 15 Years.
Leading the organization is founder, Diana L. Berger. Diana received a Bachelor of Arts in Translation (Licenciado en Traducción) from Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Diana later received her Master of Arts in Spanish (Linguistics) from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She directs Texas Linguistic Services as an organization with an uncompromising commitment to providing quality translation services.
A highlight of Diana Berger’s career came when she received a call one afternoon from Columbia Pictures. The entertainment company was beginning to shoot its major motion picture “All The Pretty Horses”, directed by Billy Bob Thornton and starring Matt Damon, Penelope Cruz and San Antonio’s very own Henry Thomas.
Diana Berger was contracted to provide Spanish teaching to Matt Damon for his Spanish speaking parts in the movie. “It was such a great experience. We rehearsed his lines and I provided coaching off the set,” says Diana Berger. “I remember when we finished, Columbia Pictures was very pleased and so was Matt, in fact, he wanted more Spanish lessons, but his hectic movie schedule did not permit.” Penelope Cruz, on the other hand, was interested in exercises in pronunciation for her role as the daughter of a wealthy family from Mexico. Diana Berger also worked with her briefly.
Texas Linguistic Services has always delivered excellent services from beginning to end, managing all the details and staying within budget. When you need a team of language experts on your side, call us at (210) 735-3008.
